This session will cover the Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF) which is published as shared source by Microsoft and is the foundation of Visual Studio 2010 addins. MEF is an application composition framework enabling applications to be dynamically composed. This session will cover what the framework does, who should care, and what are the benefits and pitfalls building a system using MEF. This topic is geared for those writing extensible systems, multi-tenant systems, and plugin developers (Visual Studio, 3rd party).
