Entity Framework (EF) entered the scene in the second half of 2008 where it received much criticism.  Since its second release with .NET 4.0, EF 4 has addressed a lot of the concern surrounding itself and now easily stands as one of the more powerful ORMs within the industry.  This upcoming user group meeting will cover exciting topics on EF 4 such as: creating a data model from an already existing database, creating a database from a data model, using Plain Old CLR Objects (POCO) with your data model, working with Text Template Transformation Toolkit (T4) to generate POCOs, looking at and understanding the different parts of an EDMX file (the file that represents the entity data model), using LINQ to query and update the database through a data model, and how to properly mock a data model for testing purposes.
