Continuing with our post-PDC 2010 talks, come join us for an evening of “What’s new with the web”. In this meeting, we will build a working, data driven website using some of the latest technologies from Microsoft. As of right now, most technologies that will be discussed have not been released yet, but most (if not all) will be released in the first quarter of this year, so don’t worry about it being too cutting edge. This talk will cover MVC 3, Code First Entity Framework, features that were made available with Visual Studio 2010 SP1, and learning how to find crucial components for any application using NuGet. During this meeting, we will be building a website, but we will also be discussing design / coding decisions as we go, so come ready to participate, because feedback throughout the evening will be more than welcome.
