With the “new Microsoft” comes a new way of getting client side libraries within Visual Studio. Nuget is still around, but it is recommended to only be used for .NET Server Side code, so what is a developer to do for client side tooling? Come learn how Microsoft has adopted the “Web Standards” way to get the tools needed for building applications. There are many options to pick from (NPM, JSPM, Bower, Grunt, Gulp, etc) and the combinations can become overwhelming. This talk won’t go into depth about every tool out there, but it will give guidance on what tools have been used in a tried and true production environment.

This will be our first attempt at a remote led presentation, so a URL will become available for those who want to attend remotely about 30 minutes before the presentation is scheduled to begin. The meeting post on the site will be updated with that URL.
